About Us

The Honiton Chamber has served the Towns traders since 1938, and still actively engaged in promoting tourism within the County, and Honiton through its Tourist Information Centre.

We have about 130 Members making us the largest Chamber in East Devon.Members are encouraged to express their views on local issues and take part in the Chambers activities.Our Committee and officers unrivalled knowledge and contacts are at the service of members

Some of our activities include;

• Lobbying the Town, District and County Council on issues affecting the commercial life of Honiton.
• Monitoring the Town's facilities (e.g car parking,Police,Street cleaning and refuse collection  etc).
• Publicity and marketing of the town as a retail and business centre. a Christmas Marketing Campagn
• Publishing the Town Guide.
• Annual miniGuide with accomodation list.
• Attending committees and working parties to further the town's commercial interests.  
• Popular marquee at the Honiton Agriculual Show in August.
• Running the Tourist Information Centre 
• Decorating the Town Centre with National Flags.
