Welcome to the HONITON AND DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY Web Site.This Chamber is the largest in East Devon. Honiton is situated on the A30 trunk road and is known as the "Gateway " to the beautiful County of Devon. The Town renowned for its ancient connection with Lace making, some of which is preserved in the Allhallows Museum, is now also known as a centre for the Antiques trade. The wide High Street has many good Restaurants and quality shops to attract the visitor.
Honiton is an ancient Market Town, markets take place on a Tuesday and Saturday. The Street Market Charter was signed in 1257, and the Town held its 750 Anniversary celebrations last summer
A Farmers market takes place on the third Thursday of the month. on the forecourt of St Paul's Church.
